Who is eligible?
All UK mainland stockists that have placed an order in the past 12 months can request a free recycling box for their business. For new accounts, recycling boxes are free with your starter set.
What frames can be recycled?
Any! We can recycle both glasses and sunglasses of any condition and any brand. However, we can not accept lenses that are not included in the frame.
How many frames can I send to you?
We are able to accept up to 10kg of frames per practice, every 6 months.
Can you recycle cases?
Unfortunately, we cannot recycle cases. The majority of cases in production are mass produced using non-recyclable material. This is why we created our Zero Waste Case.
What happens to the old frames?
We are working with charity partners including Amigos Worldwide, who operate an established training academy based in Kampala. Access to good quality eyewear is extremely limited and donations from the recycle scheme directly benefit the trainees there. Where frames cannot be reused or repurposed, we endeavour to recycle them into new sustainable optical products.
